Our Story
Your Health is Our Priority
Established in 2007, HealthSource Integrated Solutions is non-profit corporation organized within the State of Kansas and headquartered in Topeka. HealthSource and its subsidiary companies have provided a full range of integrated services for Kansans.
Together, HealthSource, its parent company, and its subsidiaries play an integral role in Kansas communities and the overall behavioral health care delivery system in Kansas. HealthSource is a subsidiary of the Association of Community Mental Health Centers of Kansas, Inc., (ACMHK) a group of 26 community mental health centers with a combined staff of over 4,500 providing mental health services across every county of the State. HealthSource subsidiary companies include ComplianceOne (formerly TMHC Services), and Substance Abuse Screening Specialists. ComplianceOne has been one of the largest providers of drug and alcohol testing and employee assistance programs in Kansas and surrounding states since 1992.

Kenneth (KC) Johnson
Chief Executive Officer
K.C. Johnson, an experienced healthcare executive with a demonstrated history of working in the hospital & health care industry, joined the HealthSource Integrated team in July of 2020 as Chief Executive Officer. With more than 16 years of experience in the healthcare field, K.C. brings a wealth of knowledge and experience that includes overseeing complex program operations and launching strategic initiatives to improve outcomes for individuals and their families. He holds a Master of Business Administration, a Master of Arts in Family Psychology, and is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives. Additionally, K.C. is a veteran of the United States Air Force.
Nicholas Henry
Director of Information Technology Operations
Nicholas has an extensive career working in the managed service industry and has been in the Information technology field since 2012. He graduated from Fort Hays State University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Information Networking and Telecommunications in 2021 and an Associates of Applied Science from Flint Hills Technical College in Network Technology. Nick currently leads a growing department of certified IT specialists and has a vision for expanding managed services across the state of Kansas. Throughout his time Nicholas has focused on reducing costs while maintaining quality and has helped our customers save hundreds of thousands of dollars on the IT services.
Susan Smith
Director of Human Resources and Finance
Susan came to HealthSource in 2013 as a part time Executive Assistant and Facilities Manager. She quickly moved to full time and moved into larger roles within the organization and eventually in to Human Resources. She gained additional experience working for an HR consulting firm, and then gained her SHRM-CP certification. She now leads a team of human resources and credentialing staff, as well as leading the finance department. Her team works with Community Mental Health Centers and other partners across the state of Kansas to provide human resources consulting and credentialing services. She is dedicated to providing quality services at a lower price, and serving the mission of HealthSource.
Aaron Newton
Director of Clinical Operations
Aaron Newton comes to HealthSource Integrated Solutions with a breadth of crisis behavioral health experience, specifically focused on suicide prevention. Aaron has vast experience serving communities through Community Mental Health Centers within the state of Kansas, having worked across the crisis continuum as a Crisis Case Manager, Crisis Clinician, and Crisis Program Manager. Aaron’s extensive experience at both the clinical and administrative level makes him an asset to our team as our Clinical Director. He currently serves as a member of the Kansas CIT Board, the Kansas Suicide Coalition, and is an experienced implementer of the Zero Suicide model, a quality improvement model which aims to transform system-wide suicide prevention and care to save lives. Aaron holds a Master’s of Social Work degree from Wichita State University.
